Foreign minister’s long-distance speech to promote China Australia open and positive cooperative relations
Although many representatives of Australian enterprises could not come to China to participate in the Expo in person due to the new outbreak of the disease this year, their employees or partners in China still sent representatives to attend the fair, which shows that Australian enterprises attach great importance to the Chinese market.
in the past two fairs, Australian Trade Minister Simon Birmingham personally recommended high-quality and diversified products and services from Australia to Chinese partners. Although we can’t be on the spot this year, Birmingham delivered a video address to major Australian exhibitors and Chinese partners at the Australian exchange dinner at the 2020 International Fair, expressing the Australian government’s commitment to maintaining an open, positive and fruitful relationship with China in the business and political fields. Over the years, he said, our two countries have benefited from the remarkable complementarity between the Australian and Chinese economies.

On the first day of the Expo last year, Chinese and Australian enterprises also held an intensive business memorandum of understanding signing ceremony. Among them, the memorandum of understanding signed by the Chinese working group of Australia’s red meat industry and the China Chamber of Commerce for import and export of food, native animals and livestock has been promoted orderly in the past year, further promoting the close cooperation between the two countries in the field of meat.

focused on Australian high-quality products and services
The opening of the third acpit has strengthened the confidence of global multinational enterprises in China’s economic recovery. The Victorian government and the Western Australian government have respectively created special exhibition halls in the food and agricultural products exhibition hall to display the diversified and rich high-quality products of Australia.
Australia’s national business super giant Coles, which has a history of 100 years, has been on the Expo for three consecutive years.
