Ten years of scientific and technological innovation, State Key Laboratory of Dairy Biotechnology helps healthy China

Scientific and technological innovation leads the times. In 2011, the State Key Laboratory of Dairy Biotechnology established by Guangming dairy as the main unit of actual operation was established.

Ten years of sand and gold smelting, ten years of firewood and fire passed from generation to generation. On December 18, the 10th anniversary meeting of the construction and operation of the State Key Laboratory of Dairy Biotechnology (hereinafter referred to as the National Heavy laboratory) was held in Shanghai.

Dairy industry is an important part of national economic construction and development. It is an indispensable industry for healthy China and strong nation. In China’s “14th five year plan”, milk is also listed as an important agricultural product “to ensure supply security” for the first time, which indicates that the dairy industry has risen to an unprecedented new height in the overall national strategy.

In a decade, adhering to ingenuity, the National Center of gravity has established a scientific research team of 100 people, including 14 professor level senior engineers and 31 senior engineers, obtained 517 authorized invention patents, published 20 books such as probiotics, dairy safety and cheese science and technology, and presided over and undertook the national key R & D plan in the 13th five year plan There are more than 30 national, provincial and ministerial level projects such as the outline of the high technology research and development plan (i.e. “863 Plan”) and the national key basic research and development plan (i.e. “973 Plan”); it has the most national science and technology awards in the industry, and won 1 National Technology Invention Award, 4 National Science and technology progress awards and 38 provincial and ministerial awards.

Over the past ten years, SDIC has been facing the forefront of world science and technology, adhering to innovation driven, solving industry problems and realizing the high-quality development of China’s dairy industry.

Guozhong office always pays attention to the organic combination of basic research and applied technology. In the past decade, it has created several domestic and even international firsts and carried out probiotic research in China, Establish the largest lactic acid bacteria resource bank (> 7500 strains) of domestic dairy enterprises, with 48 strains with independent intellectual property rights, take the lead in realizing the industrialized development of patented strains such as Lactobacillus plantarum st-iii and Lactobacillus casei lc2w, and lead the great leap forward development of probiotics and functional fermented milk.

Moslian, the first brand of normal temperature yogurt in China, subverted the storage mode of traditional yogurt and created a new track of normal temperature yogurt. It took the lead in putting forward the pasteurization process of 75 ℃ for 15 seconds, and was the first in the world to mark the activity index content on the package, and listed youbei high-quality fresh milk at 75 ℃; It is the first in the world to mark the activity indexes and contents of immunoglobulin, lactoferrin and lactoperoxidase on dairy packaging. Now it is added α- Lactalbumin β- Lactoglobulin and other two active nutrients have been popularized and applied in 61 enterprises in 25 provinces, accounting for more than 95% of the domestic dairy industry.

Develop the world’s first 100 billion level live pure Lactobacillus plantarum fermented milk beverage, reach the international advanced level, and develop the functional yogurt of the 7-day improvement plan, so as to continuously provide strong support for the implementation of the “healthy China” strategy.

Whether it is to realize the original innovation of “from 0 to 1” or the continuous innovation of “from 1 to 100”, the National Center of gravity should not only realize the future oriented forward-looking basic research, but also strengthen the applied basic research, and truly apply the scientific and technological achievements to dairy products. This year is the opening year of the 14th five year plan, and China’s dairy industry is also in the key stage of the world’s dairy power to become a dairy power, which is not only the direction of the times, but also the general trend. Based on the new development trend, the State Key Laboratory of Dairy Biotechnology will continue to consolidate the “foundation” of dairy R & D, focus on dairy nutrition and health, connect and penetrate into the upstream and downstream industrial chains of dairy industry, and become the key power source to promote the high-quality development of China’s dairy industry.

In the future, based on the development needs of dairy engineering, SDIC will actively participate in the R & D and innovation of key technologies in dairy industry, continue to march in the breadth and depth of Dairy Science and technology, continue to lead the transformation of dairy nutrition and health scientific research in combination with the industry development trend and national nutrition and health needs, and build a bright product quality system with scientific research and innovation The root causes ensure the excellent quality of “safety, nutrition, health and delicious” of dairy products.
